Do what you can with what you have.

June was hot and humid. Skipped more workouts than logged. I became the sum of all bloatware. 30th June reporting deadlines messed work and sleep schedule.

Today was a good day. Light drizzle at 6am. 2 bars. 4 plates. 70 minutes.

Good volume but low compared to benchmarks and prior highs. 3 months to get to 30 kg shoulder press. Front squats and deadlifts still lagging.

Only add a plate when your base and foundation are ready.

The bars and the weights don’t matter as much as starting up does. For the longest time, all I could afford to do was walk.

So I walked. You take what is given.

5 simple words. Mean the world to me. Do what you can with what you have now.

You get the perfect hand maybe twice or thrice in your life. Most days its 2s and 7s. If you do with what you have, the day you get dealt the right hand, no one can come close.
